ABOUT OCEANS™

Making carbon data easier to collect, understand, and act on

OCEANS™ is an India-founded, US-focused sustainability technology company building practical carbon-accounting infrastructure for growing businesses.

We help companies transform fragmented operational information into traceable emissions calculations and credible reporting outputs.

Sai Praneeth, Founder and CEO of OCEANS™.

Carbon accounting begins with a data problem

Relevant information is distributed across utility bills, procurement records, travel reports, supplier files, operational systems and spreadsheets — rarely in one place, rarely in one format.

  1. Fragmented operational records
  2. Structured activity data
  3. Documented calculations
  4. Connected evidence
  5. Explainable reporting outputs

From fragmented operational records to carbon information companies can understand and explain.

Built from a belief that complex environmental data should become useful information

"I started OCEANS™ because I saw companies struggling to acquire quality data quickly, process it consistently, and turn it into credible carbon footprints and complex reports. I wanted to create a simpler and more transparent way to connect operational data with carbon accountability."

— Sai Praneeth, Founder and CEO

Sai's work has consistently focused on translating complex environmental information into practical insights.

FOUNDER AND CEO

Sai Praneeth

Founder and CEO, OCEANS™

Sai Praneeth, Founder and CEO of OCEANS™.

Sai Praneeth brings more than eight years of experience across carbon accounting, greenhouse-gas emissions, environmental data and sustainability.

Before founding OCEANS™, Sai became known for transforming complex weather information into clear, localized guidance for farmers and communities in Andhra Pradesh.

His work demonstrated an idea that remains central to OCEANS™ today: complex environmental data becomes valuable only when people can understand and use it.

This work was highlighted by UN-Habitat and recognized during the July 2021 episode of Mann Ki Baat.
