OCEANS™ MISSION
Make every relevant business activity carbon-accountable
Our mission is to make relevant business activity carbon-accountable by helping growing companies turn fragmented operational records into transparent emissions information, connected evidence and repeatable reporting.

Carbon accounting begins with a data problem

Useful activity data is fragmented across utility bills, procurement systems, facilities logs, travel, logistics, suppliers, spreadsheets, and equipment records. The problem is not merely calculation — it is maintaining context, ownership, evidence, methods, and repeatability.
In practice, that means turning fragmented operational data into credible carbon information — so growing companies can calculate, explain, improve, and report with confidence.
What guides how we build
- Make the work understandable.
- Show assumptions and uncertainty.
- Help teams begin before every source is perfect.
- Keep evidence connected to results.
- Fit real business workflows.
- Give lean teams enterprise-grade discipline without enterprise complexity.
Today and our direction

| Today | Our direction |
|---|---|
| Scattered files across teams | Connected workflows |
| Hidden spreadsheet formulas | Documented calculations |
| Detached evidence | Linked evidence |
| Rebuilding reports each cycle | Reusable, reviewed information |
| Context-free estimates | Visible uncertainty |
| Periodic, rushed work | More frequent insight |
| Person-dependent knowledge | Retained methodology |
How OCEANS™ Sustainability approaches the work
Who we are building for

- Growing companies
- Sustainability managers
- EHS leaders
- Operations teams
- Finance and procurement collaborators
- Teams receiving customer or disclosure requests
Our long-term vision
Over time, we want to make it easier to acquire richer operational data, integrate with the systems companies already use, and — where it makes sense — connect environmental sensors or other data-acquisition devices directly to the calculation process.
Environmental monitoring and data-acquisition device integrations are part of the long-term vision and are not currently available product capabilities.
Where we are today
OCEANS™ Sustainability is in product development and early customer conversations. We are inviting qualified operators to help shape it.
Help shape a more practical carbon-accounting platform
Founding Design Partners work directly with the OCEANS™ team to test real-world workflows and help shape the platform around practical business requirements.
